Honestly, Barcelona show that they can still be the top in the world, they showed this in the 6-1 win and the recent Clasico. But they're inconsistent af

Madrid on the other hand are steadily improving imo, I've a feeling they're gonna be way stronger in the near future

on the other hand I have also a lot of respect for Barcelona -mostly cuz of Ronaldinho back in the days- and I would find it sad to see them become a more mediocre team

besides, MSN (same for BBC) are overrated af. If you look at how efficient the young offensive players in Monaco and Juve are... That's something Barcelona (and Madrid) can only dream off. What will both teams become when their "godly" offense gets too old

Alcacer has done decently, Munir is on loan at Valencia, and that's about it for barca's offense. They need some other young player. Madrid has quite a few good young ones already though

Don't forget about Rakitic. He has been playing incredibly well this season.

Madrid's got ödegaard incoming but apart from that I don't really know any other upcoming talents in their youth academy. Also @Speedcell Rakitic is overrated af, doesn't even get close to what Xavi and Iniesta used to be

Halilovic is at Hamburg with a buy back clause, he has potential

they need some players that can make sure their midfield is safe

Iniesta will still be around for 2-3 more seasons I suspect, that might be enough time for halilovic to develop, hopefully
