youre basing your entire, ENTIRE viewpoints on life on trust. have you, yourself, even interacted with god/jesus before?

Does He literally talk back? No. I know He's working in my life. I'm still alive. Everyday is gift from God. He answers prayers. He won't answer all of them, or He won't answer some until much later.

I have read your post. Still sad you won't take into consideration.

maybe youre alive because youve done things that keep you alive. i feel like youre blaming the successes and things that are good in your life on god instead of realizing that you are simply making good decisions.

Sorry but I keep hearing you talk about how selfless your God is, but then I compare it to every atrocity in the Bible and committed because of the Bible and I am very confused.

Out of curiosity, is your God simultaneously all knowing and all powerful?

I don't know the answers to your creationism questions and stuff, but I know God is real. I have felt his presence. I don't know how much you guys are gonna believe this but I did feel it. 420 characters is quite a short limit and I'm in the middle of taking a **** so if you wanna hear it tag or something

@BAWSS5, God may be a loving god, but He is also a just god. Whatever He does and has done is and always will be justified. People often fail to realize how horrible humanity is. We're like cancer cells, and yes, God is all-knowing, all-powerful, and everywhere.

Hmm... you've told a paradox right there. God can create a rock so tough that even He cannot break it, but He's omnipotent. He can destroy anything. Seems like the Pinocchio paradox. "My nose will now grow." He just told a lie, so it should grow, but if it did, it would be a truth. So, it wouldn't grow.

So God's all powerful and all knowing and perfectly just, but he created us, and we created sin, (which being all knowing he k we would happen), which was too powerful for him to eliminate, despite his all powerfulness, so he allows sin to reign over the people he created despite knowing exactly how to stop it and being perfectly just so as to stop it completely...

and set all of us the responsibility to believe that this happened based on the human works of some dudes who were basically illiterate 2000 years ago despite knowing this would cause more war and violence than any other idealology in subsequent history.

@BAWSS5, God could eliminate all sin if He wanted to. Why doesn't He? It probably would interfere with the free will He let us have. I like to think of God as an author, and we're in His story. We may not like some of the stuff He does. I mean J. K. Rowling had Dumbledore killed. In the end, there will be a happy ending.

I guess "heavens" in the first in the verse of the Bible "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth" could be implying the universe. There are several verses that talk about the moon and stars. "He counts the number of the stars; He gives names to all of them." Psalms 147:4

Gehenna, you can't put the blame on me for not reading your ridiculous articles about Carbon dating when

    1. It's obviously an AMAZINGLY biased source.
    2. Carbon dating is pretty much accepted science everywhere in the western world. Are you suggesting that all scientists are either too stupid to realise it's wrong, or part of some conspiracy?

By the way, I've read most of the article now and it's complete rubbish. The bias is clear in every sentence, the investigation doesn't follow the scientific method at all, it starts from a creationist standpoint.

Tell me, if there's such scientific evidence for creationism, why isn't it accepted by most scientists? Why don't they teach it in schools? Because it's complete BS, designed to fool people like you.

A person that does whatever he wants as long as it benefits him, even if it seems morally wrong to the majority. Is that a nihilist or not? Keep in mind, when I say "it benefits him", he won't risk imprisonment from the end result. The end must benefit the man.

@BAWSS5 I was at a church camp, and on the final night we were all brought together and given the gift of speaking in tongues. speaking in tongues is praising God in a language we don't understand. I don't know if it's a proper language now, maybe it was last time

I'm not going to come up with agreeable answers. I believe most secular science does comply with my faith, and I can see with my eyes some sciences are true. Without physics, many of our structures won't hold up.

Anyways, speaking in tongues is not possible to do without the gift from God (well not like not possible more like it's unnatural). But when they prayed for us in the church camp, almost all of us was able to do so. For me I just opened my mouth and it just came out, I couldn't control it, I didn't know what I was saying but I was saying something

I believe Christians who reinterpret things from the Old Testament, like the creation of the Earth and did God literally create the Earth in 7 days or was it billions of years can still receive Jesus and go to Heaven.

@GlobalistCuck at one point I was thinking a lot about evolution and creation and how they worked out, I somehow reasoned out that when the bible said "on day x God created something", I assumed that it's not exactly a day, a day might be used to represent longer times

I also assumed that it meant that God instigated the thing to happen. So let's say the bible says God created the heavens and the earth. I assumed heavens = universe, and created = instigated Big Bang to happen

Same for evolution. Coz for evolution to happen, there should be a few major mutations in the genes of the fish or whatever to grow legs. So I assume that it's God who was like "let's change this genes around and pop some legs on these fish".
