I don't need evidence, when I have faith. Faith is a powerful thing.

Faith is an idiotic and blind belief at some times also.

faith is a powerful thing and im not dissing on you for it but id rather have faith in something that i find likely. false hope is also a powerful thing, except this time its not positive

Gehenna, your views about "faith" and "evidence" are all over the place..

When confronted with anything to do with Christianity you cry "no i dont need evidence, i have faith"

When confronted with science or anything else non-religious you cry "where's the evidence"

you see this, right?

And on the accident/reason thing, please understand that humans are programmed to look for patterns and reason where there is none, or where things aren't what our intuition would make us think.

We might look at this world, a world habitable for us, and think "wow we can live here perfectly, someone must have put this world here for us"

But a logical person might think for a bit and say "but wait a minute. if this earth wasn't habitable for us, then we'd all be dead, so it's survivorship bias. we are here because the earth is habitable for us, not the other way around."

We could've been born on Mars. We'd probably be living underground forever.

That's probably the only place where life is sustainable on Mars.
