Yes, but it's not empty when He says it. When you see celebrities and other people talk about it, they often don't act out on it or no one listens to them.

Before 2016 Election Results: "Whatever happens, we should all still love each other."
After 2016 Election Results: " F*** all of you Trump voters! I hope you burn in Hell!"
Seriously, I saw someone on Twitter like that.

Are you talking about the SJW youtuber Laci Green? Just a shot in the dark, I saw her tweet something very similar.

My view on Trump voters is that they're either moronic, uninformed, selfish, racist, or some mixture of those traits. But that doesn't mean we should dehumanize them.

btw y'know Trump's right-wing nationalistic policies are kind of against what Jesus taught right?

Of course. Jesus wants us to reach out to the world.
"Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit."

Then why'd you vote for him?

He matched my political views the most, and he had the best chance at winning.

Can I ask which of these political views match up with him?

Also, imo he did not have the best chance of winning. Most of the numbers pointed to Hillary winning. Unless you're talking about state-wide in which case I think NC was kind of a toss-up.

Never trust polls. Trump is more aggressive, and I like that. Obama was kind of a wimp and often took a soft, PC approach to things. I like how Trump is more aggressive on immigration, but he may be too aggressive for my taste. I also like his jobs/economy approach. That's were I believe He'll truly shines, if all else fails.

    "Never trust polls"
    Mind telling me why?

Also what about aggressiveness is a good trait for a President? "Blessed are the meek"?
Also, Trump's policy on the jobs/economy is completely moronic, he's just playing to people's emotions. I'd advise you do your research before you vote.

Just continuing on from that last point - you can't bring back manufacturing and particularly coal jobs to places like West Virginia and Ohio. You just can't, not on the level Trump is talking about. What you can do is train those people in depressed rural areas in new pioneering new fields like IT and modern technology.

Jobs and the economy have been doing better under Trump. Unemployment has dropped as well. If Trump continues to do good in fiscal issues, he'll go down as a successful president. This is what people care about the most, what happens with their wallets.

Gehenna... You know that pretty much none of that is directly linked to trump, right? Presidents don't have a great ability to make a significant change to the economy in the short-term, and even if they did, it would have to be through major legislation, which Trump hasn't passed.

My god you really should learn how the economy works before you vote.

Also the economy isn't really doing particularly better than under Obama. 2017 is on track to have the lowest job-creation since 2010.

Also also, Trump's gonna need to do something seriously impressive to go down as a successful president. Success is defined by what the people think, and right now they do not like him.
