They can be all shapes and sizes.
They can fight for you.
They can make you money.
They can even be your friends!

Freak if you want to get into basic pokemon without having to pay anything, download a GBA emulator (make sure it is a good source and not a virus link), download pokemon fire red, and play it. It is worth it. Honestly, I mainly like pokemon because of the strategy in it (and it is fun to me). I could care less about the show or the card game.

My strategy in Pokemon:

I go offensive as well. Maybe I will do moves that either lower or raise my/the other pokemon's stats. They have to be uber good though, like agility. Helping hand is amazing if you have the right combos and you are playing double team.

Well, some of my Pokemon have status moves (IE: Nuzzle, Calm Mind)
