What exactly happened?

Playing rugby, somebody chopped my leg from the side, and it went under me

Ouch!! I am guessing that you need support when you walk?

I've been given Crutches to help me walk, but It hurts to even use them at the moment, so i'm just sat down a lot

That must suck. I also did the same thing as you :P
