It's the most violent anime out there. But if you kinda enjoyed FD, then you should watch Basilisk. It is dubbed, too.

Please give me a description, what the main characters are like, what the story is etc etc.

So, it's basically in a bit more ancient times. There are these 2 ninja clans who are fighting for the Shogun. It's basically 10v10 hardcore with violence and it is a drama. There's a ton of blood, but not as much as in FD.

Characters are interesting, and each one of them has a unique skill, like an ability to disguise as others or something that makes you nearly invincible. It takes place like 1000 years ago, so there are no guns. And after first 5 episodes, you get a hang of characters.

This character is from a different anime. She suffers from personality splitting, which makes her extremely awkward at times. She has a strange thing going on, but the anime is probably the most violent ever made. I mean, they chop off arms, legs, heads, and there is more than disturbing stuff.

Right 4 minutes in and many peoples body parts are flying off left right and center, no worries.
