So. SPOILER. When you see the Bald Trainer talking to the kid with the Freckles, and the Kid with the Freckles says: He will give his body and service to the king, it's kinda sad. Later on in the Anime, we find the he, (Marco) died. But nobody knows how. He was found dead, HALF of his body was gone.
Also, when the Trainer was talking to the Bald Kid, (Connie) and the Trainer says: "Well sweet Jolly ****in Ranchers, I bet your mother wished she had swallowed you", Later on in the series, Connie goes to his old Village, and finds everyone gone. But they actually weren't.
When he got there, he found a Titan sitting on top of his house. The whole village had somehow been turned into Titans. So. The Titans eat the humans, and his mother is now, well, a Titan
