What are the benefits of the cosmetic items? I heard, that they caused exploits.

Currently you can abuse the pets in WarZ, other than that they are purely cosmetic and will not effect game play. Their purpose will be to just look nice.

What is your favorite (If you have one), and what would you suggest for me?

I'm just thinking of gettin' a slime on my alt.

I wouldn't recommend using a pet on WarZ considering that abusing it to block shots can possibly get you banned. Pets will be disabled on WarZ as well. If I had to choose a pet that I could use anywhere else, it would have to be the snowman. <3
