It's just much more convinient with TS. You will need Skype for staff chat, though.

Overwolf is a program that goes along with TS. It can be handy because you can see whoever is talking. Your choice really. I don't use it very often.

Does it do like any harmful effects to your computer? Like lag and such?

It did make my old computer a little slower, but it shouldn't affect you if you have a good computer.

You don't have to talk when you're on Teamspeak. The admins require all staff to have it because it is a great way of contacting people quickly and efficiently.
