If someone posts a gravedig post, I have to lock the thread. Unfortunately, the other staff members did nothing, therefore I had to lock it with a gravedig post.

My apologies. However, you can jsuty lock the thread without replying to it. By doing that you're gravedigging yourself.

But not replying would have solved the problem to a fuller extent. All you did was cause a problem but prevent anyone from doing it after you. Couldn't you have NOT caused a problem and also prevented people from doing it?
