Also, Expert is quite fun when you get expert mode drops from bosses. Expect when a turtle can deal like 200+ damage to you with 50+ armor...

What you should have done was build a house at the edge of the jungle for the witch doctor. It allows you to buy the leaf wings very quick.

Seen it. I do, however, believe that HERO cheesed as well. He used the rod of discord to not get hit by the phantasm laser, which DEFFINETLY made him survive.

Cheese is exploiting the boss's ai so you can kill the boss without fully having to fight it. The Rod of Discord is a hardmode tool that can be found in the game. Hero still had to fully fight the boss, so he didn't actually cheese it.

Cheesing isn't only exploiting the boss's ai. That would mean that using the spike 1 dmg trick isn't cheesing.

Whilst the rod of discord is less of a cheesing tool than spikes, It still doesn't cut it for a 'non cheesing' kill IMO.

Also, using rails with the Expert mine cart to avoid his laser is also probably cheesing it, you can avoid his true eye's because of how fast you are going and he'll teleport to you. Most of the time his laser's will miss. A good way to take him on is using the master ninja gear and hope that RNG will proc on the laser to take no damage.

Or flying upwards. It isn't that difficult to avoid IMO.
