I coined the term. It accurately describes what happens to 90% of the staff who stick around after they resign. In a nutshell, it means this:

Post staff hipster syndrome: A disease that affects the minds of those who contract it. This disease is commonly developed by staff members after resigning/being demoted or by members who have left the servers, but not the forums.

Common symptoms include: loss of respect for the community, acting as though above the community, trollish or disruptive behavior, acting "cool/hipsterish", loss of tact in forums posts, talkin' liek dis, overuse of acronyms, distrust/dislike of current or new staff members, hyper-reminiscence about "the golden days," and overly critical mindsets.

Extreme side effects include: warning, temp-banning, and even banning of those who contract this potentially fatal disease.

Thankfully, you don't exhibit most of these nasty symptoms though. :V
