In Peter Pan, a fairy is born every time a child laughs for the first time. It is assumed fairies are biologically immortal, however this is contrasted by a lack of Tinkerbell at the end of the book, with Peter hinting at her demise. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I just graphed a simple exponential function comparing human biomass to fairy biomass. I used an average weight of fairies as 35 grams, assuming that fairies and humans have similar proportions and internal structures. I got this weight from the size of Tinkerbell in the 90s movie "Hook" compared to Robin Williams, who we all know is 170 centimeters.

Then, given that we live in three-dimensional world [citation needed], I cubed the ratio of heights and divided the average human's weight by it, reaching an average of 35 grams. Interestingly enough, for a period of human history towards the end of the Ice Age, fairy biomass did outweigh humans, despite Manny, Sid and Diego's attempts to save human babies.
