I have no memory of this, and, as far as I can tell, having searched for the terms "sing" and "karaoke" to no avail, Discord doesn't either. Are you sure? :v I'd like to see them if you can find them. It would be really weird if that actually happened and I have no recollection of it whatsoever.

report buttons on games and websites owned by big companies are notoriously useless and/or prone to abuse themselves, due to automated reviewing (twitter) or just being reviewed by people with really ****ty judgment. and most servers already had /ignore. i don't think it's good

mojang is misunderstanding how their game works. every server already had their own punishment systems for being a dickbag, and you can remove people from realms on your own too. it's not like minecraft has any kind of matchmaking where something like this *would* be necessary and worth the cost of people losing their ability to chat gamewide over false positives and misunderstandings

one of the things that made minecraft multiplayer so great back in "the heyday" was that there *was* no gamewide sanction for anything that you did. like tf2/cs:s servers from back then it was all up to the staff on whatever server you were on, so the only thing you really couldn't do was be a total assbag, but otherwise be as childish and immature as you ****ing want. it was free. but unlike community volunteered

staff, systematic moderation ALWAYS shuts you out for dumb petty ****, which was why games with these servers back then were so free because they didn't have gamewide reporting. no human maintenance could keep up with that so it wouldn't reasonably last long even if it was necessary

they should have done this for hacking if anything. every game had an anticheat except for minecraft
