I don't know you personally, so I don't know if this is an issue with you. In order to be a good mod, one has to really lighten up. :V I did so intentionally and became a scrub that the community at large could relate to. Be the staff's champion as a member, and the member's champion as a staff member. :V
Hahahaha so does that mean I'm too strict? not strict enough? I want to relate to the community to therefore bring the best experience to that game wise. I won't change my morals for it though, so please don't suggest I do. I would however love some feedback! ^-^
Believe me, changing your morals isn't required. :V I'm not talking about your moderating style. I don't know what it is to be honest. :V I'm just talking about relateability, which can be difficult if you are somewhat new to the community. Just get to know people, and start messing around (in a good way :V).
Look at my application. http://www.brawl.com/threads/27272/ I went from that beautiful elegance to "lol m8, ur a scrublord." I was mature in-game of course, but I had fun with my friends. I told [Jebidiah Vanheiklebop] stories in staff chat and everything. Make the most out of your time as a mod.
That's great advice! The best way to connect with the community is to become friends with them! Thanks! I'll try my best! You're a wonderful help! Let's play in game sometime!
