The Ray is an extremely annoying and scrubbish gun to use on infect, so now you have another option. :V The minigun might not rack up as many kills at first, but it's the only gun that can allow you to survive on your own for a bit when it comes down to it and you are the last survivor.

The Ray is too slow for that. Also, using the mini on infect is waaaay more fun that sniping with the ray. :V You get up close and personal with it. It's awesome.

Me and you should try to survive with each other on infect sometime. Most maps have places that require two players with miniguns to guarantee survival. I can show you all the cool spots that not many take advantage of. :V
