Server Host Move - Update

Well you also have to remember that the individual servers and player information might take a while. Theres been a boatload of players, and at least 100 servers for Party, WarZ, and War. (one for PvP, KitBrawl, and 3 for Team HG)

 

We counted about in the mid fifties for servers and I'm really sure even for a million players, it wouldn't take 72 hours.

 

Yeah, I did NOT expect a three day migration. It is a business, and I would assume that the staff are trying their hardest to get it back up as soon as possible.
At this point, I do not know what could be holding them back. I expect it to be running again at least in the afternoon into tomorrow. We can only wait and hope at this point.

 

On McBrawl's Twitter, 3 days ago.. "We're looking at a full day of downtime. Hopefully we can reduce the wait. It'll be well worth it in the end though. Sorry Brawlers!"

Were gonna lose ALOT do members if the servers aren't up in the next 8-16 hours :/

 

Agreed, my friend, he said he wont play mcbrawl servers anymore since he was on a good mood on mc-war, but the server shut down...

 

And, I don't have much time.... I have a very busy schedule all week. And I won't be able to play on spring break.

 

I think some users need to take a chill pill. It's a server! Not your bloody life support! There is absolutely no need to get this worked up about it. The only way I see this going is a full-on flame war. Meanwhile, the staff are working their hardest (they have a life too, you know) to bring us entertainment, and the least we could do is be patient.

 

You all need to realize that moving the severs is really difficult, they need to move all player files and such like that. It takes time.

Why? The ratings functions aren't meant to be abused. This shows immaturity and irresponsibility with a privilege.

Spring Break - 2 to 3 days = boredom from all you guys (well, most.)
+20S=2-3 D
+20 stuff = 2-3 days
Sometimes,
20S= 4+D
Sometimes, +20 stuff can take more than 4 days.
Hang in there guys, we can narrow it down that it would be a 50% chance of it being finished soon.

One of the forum rules is to use common sense. I don't think that disliking a post that clearly explains
why it is taking so long is using common sense.

 

Don't turn this into a flame war, back on topic guys.

 

You can't expect the server to be back in 2 days. They need at least 5 - 7 days to move everything - at least 8 - 12 hours of sleep. Its no reason for them to work 24/7 without sleep. They need to be able to have good amount of time to transfer and migrate everything + time for sleep + time for important things in life. Cause they are humans and they got a life outside Minecraft.

 

Everyone needs to have patience, it's getting done as soon as possible.
