Server Host Move - Update

That's not how you guys should have moved the servers. The way you did it was pretty stupid. You should have moved the War servers first, then after that was done moving, you move the WarZ servers. Or vice versa. That way, at least one of your servers is still up, and people can play that one while the other server is moving.

 

But all their files are connected, etc. It would be way more complicated. Doing it all at once might take longer, but its a lot easier and probably better. Its safer too so you dont loose or forget files

 

Please people can we just be patient! I would rather them do it right and take awhile then doing it fast and making an abundance of mistakes.

 

That would be amazing but I am not quite sure they can do that, please correct me if I am wrong (which I probably am)

 

I just got into Smite because of the wait, now I think I made a bad choice, because I'm going to be obsessed with two games, and be even more life-less. :/

They are trying their hardest to get the servers back, but understand they have a ton of information and files to drag over.

It takes an hour to copy a 10 minute video into a cd. Imagine multiplying that by over 1 million for every single player who ever logged on, thats a whole lot of minutes

 

As Parkman said, let them do their job. What would you prefer, a laggy as hell WarZ which is hardly playable or no WarZ and find something else to do with your time ?

Then find something else to do with your life. Go for a bike ride a walk, read a book, watch YouTube or even play on other servers I am sure you did something else before you got into WarZ.

 

WarZ wasn't laggy as hell anyway.. >.>

 

Do other things, like hang out with friends, homework, watch tv, or play on another server. I am sure you can find something to do meanwhile they try to fix the server. Don't worry.

 

No, you don't understand, if they don't migrate hosts well it could turn out being laggy. I don't think I deserve a dislike , I think its more of a disagreement.
