When they fix it, Chickenputty is working on it (as well as the others) and he is entertaining the players at the same time.

 

When will the server actually be done with moving and stuff? I really wanna get back to mc-war.com!

The server that everyone is on now is doing to be gone. Since there are completely moving. Takes time. So many spammers and hackers thought, it is ridiculous.

What about PVP? Will it still be available? That's the reason I play on McBrawl. Every other PVP from everyone else is either destroyed, completely jacked up, or too OP with the kits and giveaways. Please keep PVP.

 

Dude, it's just a server migration all of the servers will be there when it's done. So yes your PvP server will be there.

 

Not meaning to be rude, but why does it take so long for it to most hosts? I don't know if other big servers have actually migrated or just endorsed other hosts saying they migrated, but its taking too long. I appreciate the work and I know you are doing it as fast as possible (since it's technically a business).
But anyways, good job. I hope tomorrow I can see the servers back up and running back to normal

@ds246810 they are trying to keep the community down I guess, since the update/migration will resume tomorrow. It will be a long night.

 

Err...one problem: I can't seem to upload profile pictures, I always get an error. Any reasons?

 

This is normal. I'm no expert but can you imagine how much storage and data they have from thousands of players logged on, transferring them from one host to another, and expect it to be a 1 hour process? It all depends on their computer(s), their specs, MBPS, and all that. It's going to take a while, they don't have control of it or can magically force the computer to go faster.

 

I am very excited for this server host change, it will reduce so much lag, but I just cant stand the wait ;V I need to waste my life more on these servers, and I cant when they are not available. ;S

 

If I'm not mistaken, they're probably transferring several terabytes of data right now. If you want a view of how large a single terabyte is, it's 1 trillion bytes, or 1,000 times larger than a gigabyte. Imagine downloading CoD Ghosts several hundred times. Yeah, that's a long time.
Or, if it was only several hundred gigabytes, it would still take an eternity.

 

Finally I was wondering each day the servers are down so is this MCWAR 2.0? Okay thanks will be up on 3/14/2014 PAcific Time zone
