i need to know

The reason why I am a mod is because I am active in all required areas, I am also mature and the admins thought that I was the right man for the job. I do my best to catch hackers seeing as I am always recording and as a Mod I have had to sacrifice the luxury of actually playing the game to help the community. I am not able to inspect someone easily just because I am a mod. In-fact it makes my job harder because everyone think that I am trying to ban them for hacking. With the perms I have I have to rely on other people to get me to the hacker as I cannot simply TP him to me or vice-versa.

 

Well that simply makes your rank as simple as one of a donor. Like I go out and record hackers and I have reported a fair share. Which is the same thing you do. So your moderator rank only applies on the forums? Am I right?

 

I have perm MVP, but I also have to power to kick and ban people. All I am saying is that I cannot simply ban someone because a person accuses them of possessing a hacked client.

Those are the permissions that cannot be used unless proof. And like you saidyou want force /tp and /vanish can you? So aren't these commands useless unless you see the person? You can't use the nocheat alert and teleport to them? That's the problem.

 

I only have access to /ban and /kick. I am not allowed to use these perms without proof or I will receive a demotion. Also, no-cheat does not give us alerts, if it could it would send one to the people hosting the server, or our plugins manager.

 

This is what makes your permissions useless. I can ban someone if I record there hacks and I report it. Same with you. Moderator vs a normal rank, there is really no difference.

 

There is a big difference, or we would demolish the rank. My job is not just to catch hackers but to find glitches, test maps, do behind the scenes work ect. I am going to lock this thread now seeing as it is going off-topic.
