So if I used lets say my own resource pack, other guns wouldn't look like tools?

I just like being able to tell what gun otherpeople have lmao

 

The ressource pack changes the texture of every item from your point of view. If a wooden spade is a USP45 in your ressource pack, all wooden spades you will see as item on ground, in the hand of other players or even in item frames will look like a USP45 for you.

I seem to have a problem when using the client. Whenever I move, I lag and get 3 frames per second. However, when standing still, I get over 100. Is there a way of fixing this, or is this just a problem with the game that I am running?

EDIT: Fixed. I found that I just lagged with the minimap.

 

Changing the controls in the "controls" section is not doing anything for me. The controls remain the same. Shifting is CTRL in-game, but in the controls menu it says it is set to shift.

Yes, it is on. I don't know what it is. What is it?

 

It basically changes the control scheme to a FPS style control scheme. This includes control to sneak, shift to sprint, left click to shoot, and right click to aim. It's also kinda buggy. Disable it, and you should be able to have working controls again.

 

FPS Mode completely changes the controls. For example, it will make Ctrl - Shift and also will make the attack button to shoot, which is the regular scope button. If you want to play Mc-War with the normal controls, turn FPS mode off.

EDIT: Now I'm having another problem. While scoping with a python, you get the realistic 3d gun with the hand and everything, but it is only doing that when I am scoping. It used to be that fancy 3d texture all the time, even when I was not scoping... which is what I want.

I am guessing you want the 'Hip Texture' video setting here. Enabling this feature will create a CoD effect with the gun while running, which is what I am assuming you want. To enable this option, just follow these steps:

1) Press 'Esc' on your keyboard, and click 'Options...'
2) Click 'Video Settings...'
3) Scroll down until you see 'Hip Textures'
4) Right click this to turn hip textures on

this is what makes me sad. i want a mac for christmas but i havent seen any mac downloads for this, and this thing helps me out so much considering my laptop is like 25 fps max :/

It should work with Mac. Basically just find your Minecraft directory, then follow the Windows instructions.
Quite straight forward.

hm. like i said i dont have a mac ATM, but when i get one (hopefully) ill try this. +1 for you.

 

I just did it the way @BrawlerAce_ said accept a little different i can tell you how when you get mac if you want but its really easy but i have a question the special gun textures with the CoD arm are not showing up on mine do i have to use the old 16x texture pack?

 

Enable it in Video Settings

It disables after you close Minecraft, that's a bug. Until it's fixed just re-enable it each time
