    One question: y the hell would joey do this if he knew he would get a perm ban? doesn't seem like him since this server ment so much to him, plus there are dozens of people who hate his guts so doesn't it seem reasonable that someone would submit a old threat?

    The whole point here was that Joey did have a final chance, but it was taken away from him in a sudden dick move. It doesn't matter how many bad things someone might have done, everyone deserves an equal amount of chances (it's called "fair justice"). If he still made trouble after his unban, then permaban him, he deserved it. But judging from the video, the chances of him making trouble again is unlikely.

    It also depends on the seriousness of the infraction. By your logic, all crimes are the same in terms of intensity. DDoSing is a federal crime, and I doubt Joey will ever be back.
