Bug In infect, im killing my onw people as infected

    So I was doing some infected and I ended up killing a lot of my team mates even though I was infected for at least 1 minute. this is a problem. I am not sure what went on but this might be a bug. I am not sure if this has happened before or not.

    You used to be able to do this in TDM with the cbow.

    The guy probably fell in the void and the kill was credited to you because you infected hin.(last person to damage him)

    This is caused when you kill a player while you are the survivor, and they are the zombie. When you get infected, they may suicide (fall off cliff, jump of cliff, etc.) and it will give you credit for the kill, because you dealt damage to them last. It's kimd of like of you hurt a player, but not kill them, and they suicide,you getting he kill. Kind of like assists. Almost.

    I was already infected and they kept on dying after I was killed.

    Still counts, you were the last to register damage so you are credited with kills when they fall off of the map...
    Highrise has many places to fall off so that is what happened... It happened to me in Cargo infect a hundred times the other day, lol... Some guy thought it was funny to jump off of zombie spawn 20 times :stuck_out_tongue: (No screenshot sorry)

    This also happens with explosions, if you do large amounts of explosive damage to someone.

    Ya there are multiple glitches ( or just awesome stuff in the game ) like this, if your teammate suicides and you were the last to kill them, it counts as your kill, I've gotten many emps from that. Also with ray gun super rare but you can triple kill someone.

    If you do large amounts of explosive damage to your teammates, their death will sometimes be counted as your kill, even if you were not the last one to shoot them

    Yeah, this happens to me too, I reported it and I found out that day that it only happens if the player leaves of if you die at the exact same time with the other player, this is a credit and xp farm right here.

    Since you attacked them before you got infected, it is highrise so if a zombie you have killed before you died falls off the edge, it will be considered a kill.

    I still remember falling off the map a bunch of times and it saying I was killed by so and so but they were nowhere near me.

    They kept on being killed by me even 1 minute after I was infected.
