Get Minestrike back online!

yes minestricke had donator stuff but it was only not very usefull stuff like speed perk so nobody bought it

 

It would be fun to have it. But there would be not that many people on on it. And after a while people will start complaining about updates and stuff. We would need another coder... @phantamanta44 .

Well then we can assume that was one of the reasons it was shut down.

 

Minestrike shouldn't be brought back how it was before. I think it needs a total recode first.

• The plugin was very buggy
• Update to 1.7
• Guns were very inaccurate (stat wise)
• More stable with a full recode

The plugin used for guns is based off of Call of Duty. Counterstrike and Battlefield have different weapon systems, though....
There are several different accuracy values in Counterstrike, which include:

• Standing accuracy
• Walking accuracy
• Jumping accuracy
• Crouching accuracy
• Crouched movement accuracy
• Accuracy (decrease) after every shot, and a return to normal accuracy after you stop shooting

In addition, Counterstrike has many things that weren't done in the plugin(s), like:

• Not all guns can fire underwater
• Headshots deal 4x damage
• Armor has different protection
• Basic attachments (suppressor, optic, etc.)

A recode of the plugin would be a lot better at this point. Even then, I fear that the people who make War... less fun will do the same to Minestrike, because they won't be able to handle being one shotted by an AWP and will spam "AWP NOOB" or something like that.

I honestly loved minestrike, it was just a really cool different style of gameplay, plus it wasn't pay to win.

 

If it returns, then THG will be gone, right?

 

Just saying: The Guns are very inaccurate because CS Guns has also very Inaccurate Guns, and Crouchin accuracy was implemented (Sneaking) But it still was a Good Gamemode and it was very unique.

 

I didn't actually mean that. I meant that the stats of the weapons were inaccurate. Again, though, I think that only a full recode would bring Minestrike back....

You know what, soooooooooooooooooooo... Many people have suggested this the we should probably put at least one minestrike server up just to see how it does, and if it dosent do well them remove it. Why was minesrike removed anyway?

 

We've already been over why minestrike was taken down, and why it won't be coming back up.

 

I would say yes , but I feel it would be popular for around a month and then it would die out again.

 

I think it can maybe return in the 1.8 because of the New Nametag options
