You just need protection guys... It's not a guarantee you're safe if you use protection, but you'll most likely be safe.

I really don't understand why but tyranno literally adores pikmin hunter. Also, if I were pikmin hunter I would take the chance because tyranno is in a clan called Black Cybersec Crew that would totally back him up and he also has kcl729 on his side.

I guess in the end it all comes down to what he thinks and wants.

Back on topic: maybe it should become a little bit easier to become a WarZ moderator due to the lack of and major need of moderators. Anyone else agree?

I don't think that we should lower the standards of becoming a WarZ mod. Seeing as it's the roughest server I think that there should actually be more requirements to make sure that the person is 100% ready to handle the position.

This might seem a little out landishly extreme but why not allow the major ddosers to get a chance at moderator?
Positive side: they are able to defend themselves
Negative side: they could abuse their powers to comfort themselves like GKO did by randomly kicking people.

So you want moderators to be able to hit people offline?

No, what I'm saying is that the reason why pikmin left was because he got ddosed but a moderator that can ddos must do the following: stop ddosing people they don't like and change their attitude. Also, since they are known to ddos, people will be more unlikely to ddos them out of fear they might get ddosed.

So like a fear factor? If we had to resort to mods being able to DDoS without retribution then it would become totalitarian, ruling through fear. And with that comes people thinking that they can do all sorts of awful things and still be able to achieve staff.

Sorry if I am being a bit of a downer here; but could you please refrain from talking about nazi's and things like that. Simply because I am a jew and it can hurt when someone says something like that.

My bad man. I meant it as a joke. Your idea just has similar idea to the holocaust. We give bad people power and they corrupt it to hurt Jews.

I know that you did not mean any harm, I was just trying to prevent anything from happening in the future that could upset me or one of the other jews here on the forums.

When you use the word "jews" in my opinion it seems kind of crude and offensive, try using the words "jewish people." I'm not jewish, but that's what I think would be the proper terminology.

That's the same thing as calling people "Americans" or "American People"... It really doesn't matter and he's a Jew so he probably knows what Jewish people or Jews prefer to be called. But we've gotten completely off topic...

    Off topic:

There are so many ways to easily protect yourself from ddos attacks...

    - hotspot, vpn, proxy, etc
    - use teamspeak, people cannot get your IP through it
    - set your skype to accept connections only through people added on your skype, this prevents people from resolving your skype that don't have you added.
    - be smart on who you talk to. If you talk to people that you know can ddos, odds are you will be ddosd if you piss them off.

4 simple steps to ensure safety. In the 9 months I've been playing warz i haven't been ddosd yet. Even now being mod i still have yet to be ddosd.

    On topic:

Most people that apply for warz either have a history on it for being immature, malicious activity, etc. we rarely ever get an app from someone who can legitamately be qualified for the position because everyone has this mindset that warz is an awful place.
If it's an awful place, help out instead of making it worse or just by simply insulting the community.

There is also a way to make your skype unresolvable.

I have been gone for a week due to family issues but I should be on the servers more often now.
