at this point I am just glad I aren't allowed to have skype. Joey asked me for it once, and I said I didn't have one.

This is what I have to say. I have been ddosed over 200 times and even swatted over people from mcbrawl. The best thing to do is get a VPN or buy a new mc acc good luck

Just remember, it's not McBrawl that is the source of your DDoS but Skype. You're protected on McBrawl, now you need to protect your skype.

The most common way someone can get your IP is through skype. So if you have added people that could possibly ddos you maybe thats why.

How to fix it:
1. Delete your skype. If they dont know your skype they cant get your ip through it again.
2. Check if you have a static or dynamic router. You can ask your dad about that.

2.1 If you have a static router, get your dad to call the company that gives you internet, and ask them if you can get a new ip adress.
2.2 if you have a dynamic router, turn it off for about 16 hours. When you turn it on again you will have a new ip.

3. Never add people you dont know REALLY good on skype.

Btw this is happening to me too im getting ddossed almost everyday. But theres no way to get proof to the admins. Only if they admit it or threat you.

A simple way to prevent DDOS:

• Don't click links given by someone in chat.
• Don't use Skype, use Ts3.

 

You can always have the police watch your internet feed and if somebody is Ddosing they will track him.

Joeymast knows people that still plays on the server... maybe he has given your ip to them.

 

It is not the servers fault, please if you have skype DO NOT give it out as Signatured has said, it can lead to them grabbing your ip, they can also get your personal information from your skype and your IP.. Just add people you know that you can trust. Sorry to hear, please do not leave McBrawl, everyone makes a difference!
