im such a noob

Last time I nuked with ray gun on tdm was on cargo. It started up quite an argument (this is how I vaguely remember it, it was a few months ago)

Me: lol im so ray nub
Noob: ya u r
Me: Yep.
Noob: ur also stupid
Me: Yeah I'm stupid.
Noob: ya u r fgt
Me: I'm a ***?
Noob: ya
Me: Why?
Noob: ray in tdm = ray noob
Noob: ray noob with a nuke = ray noob with a nuke
Noob: ray noob with a nuke = fgt
Me: Of course. Logic right?
Noob: *****
Noob left the game.

 

Based on how easy it is to die to raygun in infect it obviously isn't much easier in tdm considering it is a fast firing high shot speed 100% accurate explosives weapon...

I got two of them back to back.

 

On infect to can die to the splash damage of the blast, on any other game mode you need to be hit directly on the body. That means that people actually have to aim which takes more skill than just pointing at the ground.

 

So the explosion magically disappears when you use it on anything other than infect? yeah right.
Either way you barely even have to aim even without the explosion, it has a 100% accuracy scoped and not scoped plus the bullets reach the target instantly, so it still requires almost no skill.

 

I think there is something in the code that makes infected players less immune to explosions. It is the same for the law, it instant kills with splash damage on infect but not other game modes. Try it out for yourself, if you shoot the ground near a player on infect it will kill them, but on team death match or ctf it will take 2 or 3 shots to kill a player with splash damage.

It only really 2 shot kills on tdm/ctf but it is still rapid fire...

 

I empd with ray on toystory when it first came out and then i got iso headshot by @RLHchampion
