Competition: Firework Show
Date: June 14 - July 1st​

What is a Firework Show: A firework show is a display of the effects created by firework devices setup in any manner you desire.

Build your best firework show on your plot to win! The winners will be sponsored in a video on July 4th along with receiving a prize (to be announced). We will be judging the firework shows by the most creative and well thought out design.

ALL entries should be submitted before the time listed above. ALL entries will be judged after the deadline. There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Winners will be announced at 8pm (CST/central) on July 1st. I will make a new thread announcing the winners.

Firework Starter Kits:​

• /kit firework
  • Gives you a plain firework to apply colors to (/firework)
  • Gives basic colors: red, blue, purple, etc.

• /kit firework2
  • Gives you some more creative fireworks.

How to create fireworks:

• /firework {syntax}

Syntax: color:<color[,color,..]> fade:<color[,color,..]>] shape:<star|ball|large|creeper|burst> effect:<trail|twinkle>

Examples:
/firework color:red
/firework color:red shape:star effect:trail
/firework color:red,blue,green fade:yellow

To test fireworks you can right-click the ground with them.
Don't forget, fireworks shoot out of dispensers.

We encourage you to make your own fireworks along with builds to go along with the show. The best overall design will win!

Feel free to record a video of your show. If you don't we'll look at it ourselves, so make sure it's easy to activate!

To make it easier on everyone, please build your firework show in your current plot.
If you need more room you can always apply for a higher rank which will give you more room/another plot to build in. I can also clear your plot as well, so just private message me if you need help in-game.

You can fire them out of dispensers hooked up to a pressure plate/lever/button or right click the ground with them and it'll fire off in front of you. =]

 

Ranks are Builder, Adv.Builder, WE1, WE2, WEpro. WE = WorldEdit

Whatever rank you are when you win, you will be promoted to the rank that comes after it. =]
