Back Guess who's back from JCLC?

That's right! ME ^.^

So, I came back home today from camp. Again, as I said in my away thread, I went to Fort Jackson in South Carolina, for a JROTC camp, JCLC, (junior cadet leadership challenge). I had tons of fun, it was a really challenging experience but I still had fun. There was a lot of different types of challenges. From just figuring out how to work with a team, to actually performing a task. From being a leader, to be a follower.

I've climbed 5 foot and taller walls countless times, walked across a log ~36 ft in the air, crawled through dark tunnels and culverts, crawled under barbed wire, and attempted to swing on a rope to get over a log. I was in the front-leaning rest position countless times because my platoon doesn't know how to shut their mouths and do what they were told.
This past week I've done many obstacle courses, most of them involving team work, and team motivation. I cheered on my team mates the whole way through, and one of my best friends was there with me the whole way through it, and I was with her. ^.^
We started our days out at 04:30 and ended them around 22:00 everyday, (except for the one day we were out until 22:30 at victory tower, which is where you repel 40 ft. Unfortunately, I didn't participate in that, because everyone kept breaking in front of everyone in the other lines of events leading up to the repelling part. So, I said "you know what, I'm done with this, I'm just gonna go sit down", plus I was tired.).
The food wasn't too bad even though it was military food, it was pretty good to be honest. I'm gonna end up being tired of water because I drank it so much because it was so hot.
The sleeping bay was pretty comfy, at first, it was hard to fall asleep because I couldn't have any music, and it was really quiet. Also, the bed I had was pretty stiff. I had a top bunk and my friend had the bottom.
I've got the bruises and blisters to show my hard work, and I've got the memories in my head. At the beginning I was so eager for all the work, the experience mostly. At the end I was so ready to be home, but I was so reluctant to leave because the experience grew on me, and I met a lot of new people.
All in all, I had a great time, my favorite thing at this camp were the cargo nets and the army crawls. I've always love to army crawl, and I've always wanted to go threw an obstacle course.

I will be gone this weekend again though, because my grandparents invited me to go to the beach with them because they need someone to play with my 5 year old cousin when they go. This trip is only for a weekend though, so it's okay.


So I'm back and ready to be back in the circle again. I won't be in game or in teamspeak until tomorrow, because I did get up at 04:30 this morning so I'm gonna be heading to bed soon. My bed, that I'm so happy to get back to.

 

I've been on a military base for the past week, I needed some color XD.

nah, I volunteered to go. It was a school thing for my JROTC class.

 

Tomorrow morning, I'm gonna sleep in, something I haven't been able to do in like a week. I'm tired tonight. I'll be there soon.
