    I haven't used the skullcrusher in over 300 rounds...
    I find the lamentation to be considerably better alternative. However, most people like it because it shoots bursts that one hit. And you can use it close range as well as far ranged. It can be used to suppress a room and to snipe.
    It is the most versatile weapon in the game other than the python IMO (which I put as #1)...
