Well, I just got back from my trip! It was a huge success! We successfully made 150 kits that were distributed to homeless people around the beach! They were full of snacks, toothbrushes, and more! Also, I played the most confusing game of my life. It is called "Mao". Basically, it is a card game similar to Uno, and every card besides 2, 5, 9, 10, and the queen. Sounds simple right? Buuut, you have to find out the rules yourself. Each card has it's own property, which means you must be extremely attentive, and have a great memory. Here are their characteristics, which I learned from the most confusing experience of my life.

3: If played, the player must state "3's the crowd"
4: You must state the name of a Beatles member. Must be different from the previous.
6: When the top card is 6, no one may talk, or else you are dealt a card and told "Shh, 6 is an evil number."
7: Player must state "Have a nice day." And the next in the order must say "Thank you." And draw 2 cards
    8: order reverses
Jack: player must say "Jack of all trades" when played.
King: all must state "All hail the chairman" when played.
    Ace: next player is skipped

    Now some misc rules.

Triplets: If 3 cards of the same number are played, you must say "Triplets"
Spades: whenever a spade is played, you must say "A spade is a spade" unless it is a 6 or queen.
Spades 2: You must always say "__ of spades" unless it was a 6.
Knocking: if you have the same card but it isn't your turn, you may knock and play it. Play continues as if nothing happens.
Mao: when you have 1 card, you must say "Mao"
Failure to do any of these results in the rules breaker receiving a bonus card. YAYY.

There are more rules I think, but since I am running on 5 and a half hours of sleep (Stayed up until 1:30 playing the game, 2 hours and no winner) I am certainly missing some.

So, through this thread, you have not only learned I am back, but also how to play a card game! I wanted to freaking throw my cards at one point, because even though I have am doing great in school, nobody can get this game immediately. My god you guys have no idea. Take the most amount of confusion, and multiply that by 50 times. That is how confused I was, because nothing seemed consistent.

    TLDR: Well, I'm back guys!

Welcome back, and it's cool that you helped out homeless people. It takes a heart and real dedication to do that. :smug:
