Minigun vs Skullcrusher

The Skullcrusher is better then the mini it has great range reloads ok and is OP (nuke 78 time with it) The mini might be good as it if you could aim and the bullets go straight and it is used for tactical situations like in infect it doesn't reload( unless it has like 999/999 ammo but it re-loads in a split sec)

Warsong isn't as far ranged as you think it is. Only if you let it be that way.
You know that thing called the enemy's flag room? I rushed in there with a minigun and held down the whole room on a full server 1. It was not only a speed nuke, it was eZ. The hard part was getting into the flag room.
Any Map is a minigun map.

Nobody is going to use Minigun on a sniper map.
It's dumb.
Nobody goes to the flag room even...

It's not dumb, and it's only a sniper map because you want to think that.
A ton of people go through the flag room. Enough to get me a double nuke.
You just think, warsong: let's use iso and hide behind a building 50 blocks away from the enemy, and pop out every few seconds.
That's not strategic, just assuming that a map is big so you would use a sniper and sit back is typical. You'd be surprised how great a minigun works on some large maps.

 

Skullcrusher.

 

Here's the way I see it:

Skully:
When paired with python makes an unstoppable camp! You can shoot a steady stream of death and by the time you empty the skully the python reloaded and vice versa.
The skully can be used for sniping and close range.
If it's unscoped you can use it like a really bad minigun to clear rooms.
I've nuked with this more than any other weapon.

Minigun:
Pure death...
A cyclone of rape coming from a gun.
It cannot be used at long range. (just use your python)
It can be used to camp doorways at cloes range but i prefer to run around using it and just killing from behind.
Useful in infect... (i don't have a raygun ;-; )

So... my final vote goes to:

The lemantation!!!

It's basically a skullcrusher and when you unscope it, it becomes a minigun!!
And it has a constant firing rate and not the 3 shot burst of the skully.


(but if i have to choose between only mini and skully, both are good, i don't prefer any over others)

skullcrusher in general but people have a soft spot for the minigun for free for all

 

I think the skully is best cuz it is a good long range gun and in close combat u can allways noscope.

 

Let's just say the only gun I have ever triple nuked with is the minigun, mini ftw on most maps if you find the right spot

 

MiniFun is not for big maps like warsong. MiniFun is for very small maps

 

Alright, my last argument to your futile stand is that nobody likes a Minigun on a sniper map.
Literally, like 3 people.
It's sort of scummy.

 

That I can actually see where you are coming from. Its one of those things that you wouldn't do, but its outcomes aren't that bad.
I made a remark one time about how moddel would be bad on warsong, then Tac corrected my spelling on Model and went on to say how he'd EMP'd on warsong with the model previously.
In reality though, any map is good with almost any gun as long as you get in a good spot that: a.) Has a decent flow of players b.) Does not put you in a venerable position and c.) Keeps you hidden.
