July Event: Minecraft CounterStrike Tournament

Info​

This month's contest will be a CounterStrike styled tournament! If you can remember back when we had our MineStrike server, it’ll be an exact copy, but with some new balancing additions. All players will be granted access to our event server and be able to practice until the tournament starts the following weekend.

Regarding the tournament, all participants MUST be in a team in order to play in the tournament. Teams will consist of five individuals, no less. To register your team, use the link below. All teams MUST be registered by Wednesday, July 16th at 11:00 PM EST in order to participate in the tournament.

Date​

The event servers will open up on Friday, July 11th. All players will be able to practice until the tournament begins. The tournament will be held the following weekend on July 18th through the 20th.

All players MUST be present during their estimated match time. If your team is not ready before your game starts, you’ll be disqualified and automatically placed into the losers bracket. If you’re already placed in the losers bracket, and are not ready, you’ll be out of the tournament.

Bracket​

Once we gather all of the participating teams, we'll publish the bracket. The bracket will display who and when your team will be playing. Again, make sure your team is online during your assigned time slot. We'll also be updating the bracket after every game.

The team leader MUST be on Teamspeak during, and before, your match time. They will receive information pertaining to the event server’s ip, when to join, and basically how everything will work.

Livestream​

We'll be livestreaming the entire event for those who won't be participating. Streamers will be announced at a later date, but for now we will have way2hot4rs as our main streamer.

You don’t have to signup for the tournament. You can just play casually from July 11th, until July 18th.
