How to use Ray

    Before reading! The whole reason behind why I am making this is so that when people come on and are angry about ray and don't know how to use it, we can give them this guide. I wish that there was something to help me find out how to use it, cause it is a hard gun to learn how to use. Hopefully, this thread will limit the new-to-ray users asking a ton how to use it.

    This is a list of short tips for how to use Ray. Please comment and send me a PM if you have a suggestion!
    1. Shoot in front of the person you are trying to shoot at.
    2. Remember that the bullets explode, so it doesn't matter if you don't hit them dead on.
    3. Only shoot the heads of the players and not anywhere else. It goes right through them if you don't!
    4. Use the Ray mostly in Infect. You can make the Ray work for FFA, but you won't get many kills. Besides that, everything else is a bad idea.
    5. Buy Scavenger with Ray. You only get 16 shots with Ray, and those go pretty quick, so make sure to get extra bullets for you to use!
    6. Don't be afraid to spam right-click if you have Scavenger. This gun is built for spamming, so spam away!
    7. Scoping does relatively nothing. The hip-shot accuracy is pretty much the same as the scoping, so don't slow yourself down!
    8. Jump and shoot at their feet.

    Hold right click and shoot at the feet.
    >instant win

    The reload time is almost non existent anyways, so you could definitely win this way.

    Just spam like everyone does, in 2 hits you get a kill and also it's splash damage making it easier to kill( no one comment pointless I didn't read the comments above :/ )

    All I do is spam and pray for the best but I don't use it for TDM/CTF gamemodes.

    You need skill for the Ray Gun.
    Basically, in infected aim for the feet and hold right click.
