July Event: MineStrike Results & Summary

    Results & Summary​

    As you may know, the MineStrike tournament took place last week. We believe that the tournament went pretty well besides for some small complications here and there. This event took the staff team quite some time to fully organize and setup. Sadly, around 17 teams out of 40 didn't show up to their assigned time. We are looking for a better way to slim this number down in the future for any other bracket based events.

    The final four teams were as followed: The_Chosen, SGA, BootyClappers, and #TKP. The matches to determine the championship winners were pretty intense. You can view these here and here, if you want.

    The final two teams in the championship match ended up being SGA and #TKP. These two teams played 3 matches to determine who the winner of the event would be. We congratulate SGA for winning the final match for the event.


    We thank every team for entering into the bracket and hope that everyone had fun. Sorry if you did not win. If you're interested in seeing the final bracket with who lost when, it is here.

    Please keep in mind that abusive and rage-filled comments are pointless. We're looking at ways that we can make future events even better. Simply complaining about how you didn't win helps us in no way.

    This event was so much fun and thanks to everyone that showed up and participated. A lot of the teams that didn't show up most likely didn't know they had to be in teamspeak. Hopefully we can find a way to contact all of the team leaders if we decide to do something like this again, though teamspeak seems like the best way I can think of at the moment. Thanks TKP for the best match we could have had. SGA for the win.

    Good game everyone. Although we got knocked out in the first round, we did play a very good team and lost a very close 5-4. Was a very fun event.

    Thank you for organizing this event, @chickenputty and @Signatured. It was well organized, it's a shame that we had some unnecessary complications in the Finals. I apologise for the actions of my team around this misunderstanding, and while I agree with them, I don't condone them yelling at you.
    So do we get a second place prize? :wink:
