Great idea. I would love to finally just have some fun with guns and such like in TF2.

 

Would love to collect hats on mcbrawl TF2 server

 

Imagine:
Tf2- One burning Ghostly Gibus for 200 ref or 3000 keys!
Here- One Black wool on your head for 5 weapons!
Because, in reality, people use refined metal as a currency. Why not make it this kind of currency?
Like a place on where you can "smelt" your weapons into scrap?
2 Weapons- Scrap
3 Scrap-Reclaimed
3 Reclaimed- Refined
Different hats cost different prices. i.e. A red wool (Team Captain) could be 30 refined (costly, but accurate)
A black wool (Ghostly Gibus) could be 5 weapons, due to it being very easy to obtain.
Stained clay and wool colors could work as hats.

 

We can use saturation for the over-heal (This is a challenge, might not work)

I'm pretty sure we can add more hearts instead of tweaking armors

I remember a server coded by Vaecon based on tf2 but it died.

Well, another idea is to simply not have any hats or clothes or items that don't do anything.

 

All classes OFC listed up:

OFFENSIVE:
Scout:
1) Shotgun (6-round, 36)
2) Pistol (10-round, 110)
3) Baseball bat (3.5 hearts)

-Speed effect
-Grey leather helmet
-Red/Blue tunic
-Grey leggings
-Black boots
-Double jump


Soldier:
1) Bazooka (4-round, 28)
2) Shotgun (6-round, 30)
3) Iron shovel

-Green helmet
-Red tunic
-Black leggings
-Grey boots
-2.5 extra hearts


Pyro
1) Flamethrower (200, 10-round knockback air blast)
2) Soldier's shotgun
3) Iron Axe

-Black leather helmet
-Red tunic
-Red pants
-Black boots

Do I have to turn on TF2 and tell you again the same information? Also, instead of giving classes different armor pieces, you can just color them instead and give them potion effects.

 

If we really want to provide different experience, we have to make classes look like characters as much as possible. Giving them normal minecraft armor, e.g chain makes it less original. I am sick of everyone doing that.

Yeah I agree with FireStar.

 

This would work really well with the EULA because tf2 doesn't have any weapons that you have to buy but I don't really think it would work out that well because there are a lot of weapons and items in tf2.
