Bug Chat is crazy censored

    theres alot of Words that are not bad that are censored, also we cant use any , or . in a message then it says NO IPS.
    This is pissing me off like crazy D:<

    even Words like: darn is censored, OMFG HOW?

    I don't know that this is a bug, just being careful. The censor filters some of the more offensive words, and makes advertising quite difficult as well. Most of your chat should be untouched unless you have a particularly foul mouth.

    If we didn't need to so heavily filter chat we wouldn't have done it but due to numerous complaints regarding advertising, flame, bad language in chat we had no other option.

    It's getting in the way of moderating. When I try to do "(insert player name here, let's just go with iErebos) watch the caps, it does this:
    ************ the caps

    Also, it's blocking out ridiculous words such as "Minigun".

    Makes advertising quite hard? False. People easily advertise... It makes saying stuff that has nothing to do with advertising hard and causes you to have to restructure your entire sentence...

    That's incorrect. I just tried it on someone and I typed it exactly like this:
    "slimefrog123 watch the caps please"
    And it did this:
    "******************** caps please"

    I guess they made it stricter then.
    You can't advertise without an IP really...

    I have never seen an IP being advertised like:
    192.456.873.112:2556
    That isn't an actual IP by the way

    .GG is a common TLD.
