Some of the new chat updates have helped the spam and flaming, but nothing will ever stop that completely.
Sadly, this is how most of the internet is. Immature.

It really saddens me to what McWar community has come to. It is no longer a joy to play, but rather a never ending challenge for numbers. It seems the number of followers of the trend rises uncontrollably, while those who played for fun either quit or become another. I remember just a while ago it was only our lower numbered servers being like this, but even the servers 5 and up are crumbling into ruins.

We've had a sudden loss of War moderators, including me, which leaves the task of turning tables even more difficult for those who remain. Sure we have global staff, but it is not their responsibility to moderate War for they have their own servers, duties and responsibilities to take care of. This leads for our community to do their part.

Let's stop complaining, and actually do something about it. If you see things getting out of hand, let a moderator know. PM them or speak with them privately to tell them what's up about a certain player, that's what our moderators are here for. If you see something that takes it too far (discrimination, sensitive insults etc) screenshot it and keep it and show it to a higher staff. To the War Moderators, be always aware of what's being said in chat. If you see someone who takes things too far, speak with them privately but don't be aggressive. Sometimes, players will show compassion, feel sorry for what they said, and you might spark their compassion if you speak with them comprehensively as a human being.

To the rest of the community that still has faith, avoid replying to these comments, as sometimes that's what they're seeking for, attention. However, if you see your friend going rage mode, try to talk him out of it and calm him down. Players who cannot control their rage shouldn't be playing, as it only worsens them. Tell them to take a break, do something that calms them down. We can do, yet we don't.
