1.8 Update - Downtime

If thats a roadblock, then it must be HUGE and invincible cus its takin forever.

 

Its been a while since iv been on, And of course I have to join right as soon as it has to update. D: I got on like 2 hours after the server shut down.

 

Holy crap I need my war thats my medicine mannn. But if its that big of a f0kon road blockblock then ill wait ;c

i kept on screaming MCWAR COME BACK ON and then i found this server like warZ practice AND I FOUND CHAPLOO ON THERE I EVEN HAVE A SCREENIE OF IT :O

The server is down because there updating it and I don't think they can turn it on while updating because it would probably have restarts a lot or we just couldn't join (not sure I don't code), They have a "Road block" or something. From what I heard it could be up by tomorrow or in a week.

 

I think they can do.
I had my own server, once, and I remember that it didn't need sooooooooo much time. (+plugins 4 hours and we were only 2 person)
That's the thing.
And otherwise they could do it on 1.7.x again.

 

I think they want to update it anyways because they already took 4 days (people would be very angry if they took it away for 3 days and nothing was added).
Ant 1.8 is being a problem for them i think.

 

Maybe they could open 5 servers for playing in 1.7.x and the other servers can be closed abd updated.

every hour they could change the opened servers.

Then we could play.

That would be an idea.

 

That might work, but. wait Iv got nothing to say to that. Why don't they do that? I don't the the switching servers but i think having 5 still in 1.7.10 would be a smart idea.

 

Pretty sure they would have to revert the whole server back to 1.7.x to do that.

 

Oh I though that would work D: can they get another temp server and put that one on 1.7.10?

 

No idea, you would have to ask someone more savvy in that field haha

 

Okay I'm not sure who is good in that area if you know some on please tell me.

 

You could probably ask any of the staff and they would more than likely be able to pass the word around to someone who could explain further if its possible.
