All of you have good points from your POV, but there really isn't anything you can do over illegal activity in a block game. If you try and get the law involved, you'll look like a tard, and if you try to do something about it, you'll get something illegal happen to you.

Why would you ever trust these people? I want to know why before I continue with why your wrong.

If I robbed a bank, and everyone knew, would you promote me even if I was the best, and most friendly player, would you? My answer to this, is No.

It's the same with ddosers, If I was the server admin, I would handle it the same way.

 

I appreciate your little response to mine, Brawler's, and Zap's arguments but in response...

1. A "good" portion of the staff? LuckyPop, a mod very related to Speck, would obviously support him because they're friends and it wouldn't help about Teamspeak whereas anyone can do a little small talk with moderators in a room and get a good impression when they apply. Especially Putty who does the promoting usually, a person who has been stated as biased when it comes to staff promotions can obliviously hire Speck who was banned for ddos.
2. Anyone can write a long-ass application and then get promoted. I very much doubt you read applications too Yinnie.

Of course you would never hire any notorious criminal except Speck because he TOTALLY changed after he was banned on an alt previously, ddosed, and still used Macros on the account that is now Specknav.

A good portion of the players don't support them, the poll in favor to this thread is 17-1.

So pretty much being active on TS3 and rewording other applications.

Staff knowingly allowed specknav to alt, and he was even banned on his account once for macros. He ddosed when he first got the account, and would of been perma-banned if it wasn't for the obvious bias-ness that lead to his promotion.

So, you demote for abusing but not a federal crime?

Just because it's hard to tell who did the crime, doesn't make it right. Also, we even know they committed the crime.

It's suggesting that ex-DDoSers shouldn't be given a promotion to a staff rank, and the community seems to agree.

 

In case you didn't want to waste time reading the comments that follow to here, it's basically 3 people arguing with Yin about ddosers and moderators.

 

Has specknav or Lucky done anything wrong as staff members? No. They're good staff members that do their jobs well. Not sure what more you can ask for.
