    "All servers are based in Canada..." i live in canada and my ping just went to **** starting this morning. did anything happen to McBrawl? it's the only server that i have had unparticilar feed with my connection

    If we start hosting special servers for each continents of course we europs would want some and the asians too. Then the servers would be hosted on 4 different continents and thats propably a coders (@Mario @Myortvye) and system admins (@yinscape) nightmare.

    The last time we changed hosts all servers were down for 3 days and if the servers are split up so much that would propably happen more often.

    A ping in Australia of 250ms pretty much as good as it gets. I live in Australia (as many players do) and my ping hovers around 300ms. Canada is just about on the opposite side of the globle of Australia, so even setting up a server in south east asia (to also cater to asian players) would dramatically decrease ping times in Australia.

    That does help.

    Google fibre is not being rolled out in Australia - you probable mean fibre optics, which is being rolled out, but only som eon the existing network is being replaced due to budget cuts, which will result in an inferior broadband network compared to the rest of the world (the potential speed was reduced from 1Gbps to 100 Mbps for an approx. overall half in cost).
