Blocking words is getting annoying.

Oh yes, you can very much disable the chat by turning it off in your MP settings. ^^

I have seen this on so many servers, and some of the filters are just insane filters. with the plugin they must have!

 

This server is a family friendly server which probably has kids from 6 to 16. So i feel it was right for them to block certain swear words even if they don't seem like it. I am sorry, buy i'm going to have to disagree on this one.

 

Yes but we all know that kids 6th grade thru 12th grade swear 24/7 and that they will hear it sometime in their lifes

Glad our chat filter isn't as insane as the ones hypixel and mineplex have

 

I am in 8th grade and I don't swear all the time.

 

Surprisingly, most of the people in my high school don't swear a lot. .-.

 

This chat censor as people posted before is to make a better environment for new players to have fun. There are children on here and we need to be careful. Im glad the word "noob" is censored because it ruins the fun when people spam hateful sayings at new players. We all need to respect each other. I noticed that people still somehow bypass the chat filter for the word "noob". Its a problem as people come up with new acronyms and words.

 

That only happens because too much stuff was being wrongfully blocked so they had to turn down the filter a bit.

 

Putty said the glitch was going to be fixed within one hour. Yet it still hasn't.
