I want to start off by saying, no this Is not my Guide. It is Eraders guide to WarZ, but it was old and outdated, so I modified it a little bit. All credit goes to @Erader1498.

    Complete Guide to MCWarZ

This guide will go into depth about the various topics and content of the minecraft server MCWarZ.

    Contents:
    • Starting Inventory
    • Map[IMG]
    • Items
    • Humanity
    • How to cook Meat[IMG]
    • Tents
    • Barbed Wire

    Starting Inventory
This section will explain the various tools/weapons you spawn with and will also explain the components of the scoreboard

    • Wooden Sword --> This is the sword you spawn with. It is only a wooden sword, but it will be sufficient against zombies and/or other players. Stone, Iron, and Diamond swords can be found in chests in other towns depending on the zone the town is in.
    • Compass --> The compass has three modes. You can toggle through these modes by right clicking while holding the compass. The mode "Friends" will make the compass to point towards the nearest player that is your friend, the mode "Enemies" will make the compass point towards the nearest player that is your enemy, and the mode "Towns" will make the compass point towards the nearest town. (More info on the friends and enemies later) You no longer spawn with the compass, but they can be found in chests.
    • Bone --> When you take fall damage in MCWarZ, your legs break. This gives you slowness and makes movement difficult and slow. You can fix your legs with a bone. Just right click while holding it. Bones can be found in chest or as a drop from killing zombies.
    • Paper (Bandage) --> When you are hurt in MCWarZ or you take damage, there is a chance that you will start to bleed. When bleeding, you lose hearts every couple of seconds until you stop the bleeding with a bandage. To stop the bleeding, right click while holding the bandage. Bandages can be found in chests or a as a drop from killing zombies.
    • Canned Beans --> Canned food is how you heal yourself in MCWarZ. Right click while holding a type of Canned Food and depending on the type, it will heal you, replenish your hunger bar, and if it is a can of Pepsi, it will restore a part of your thirst. When you right click and use a can of food/Pepsi, then it will give you an empty can. You can use empty cans to throw at players/zombies as a mean of distraction. Canned Beans specifically heal 2.5 hearts and 2.5 hunger bars. They can also be drops from zombies.
    • Can of Pepsi --> This type of canned drink heals .5 hearts, .5 hunger bars, and a portion of your thirst.
    • Map --> The map can be right clicked which will activate it and show a map of the entire MCWarZ map. You will show up on the map as a red cross and your friends will show up as green crosses. (More info on maps later)
    • Zombies Killed --> This number is the number of zombies you have killed.
    • Bandits Killed --> This number is the number of bandits you have killed. (More info on bandits later)
    • Murders --> This number is the number of people you have murdered
    • Humanity --> This is your humanity (More info on Humanity later)
    • XP --> This is a timer. The xp is the time (in seconds) until the chests refill.
    • XP Bar --> This is your thirst. When the bar is completely gone, then you are dehydrated and you will take damage until you either drink from a water bottle or drink a can of pepsi.

    Map
Please do note that maps are bugged. The map is a useful tool for survival. It can be used to find any friends online and learn their location. It can also be used to find towns/cities and gauge how far away they are from your current position. One of the first things you will notice about the map is that it showcases the entire MCWarZ map, so it is different than the default minecraft maps you might be used to. On the map, you will notice a red cross. This red cross signifies you and your position on the map. You might also notice a green cross or multiple green crosses. These signify your online friends and there positions on the map (More info on friends later). Examples can be seen in the map below. To find towns on the map, you can reference the one below where I've circled/labelled a few of the bigger cities/towns or you can use this general, albeit sometimes ineffective, tip. "If you see an unusual discoloration on a part of the map, then it has a chance to be a town, city, or structure of some kind. Industrial is a good example of this tip. It is a light gray splotch on the map (which comes from the quarry in the middle of the city), which contrasts with the darker gray around it.

NOTE: The above screenshot is of the map that was in use before the current one. It can still be found on servers 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. A screenshot of the current map can be seen below (with the zones outlined).

    Items:

    Tools:
    • [IMG] Wire Cutters --> Wire Cutters are used to cut barbed wire which is done by right clicking the barbed wire while holding the wire cutters. Wire cutters have infinite uses.
    • [IMG] Scuba Helmet --> The Scuba Helmet is a wearable helmet that gives you infinite breath underwater.
    • [IMG] Hatchet --> The hatchet is used for cutting down logs. (Scroll down for info on logs and their use)
    Medical Supplies
    • [IMG] Blood Bag --> Blood bags can be found in chests and are used to heal other players. If you right click on someone while holding a blood bag, then it will partially restore that player's hunger and health bar. Healing a player with a blood bag also increased your humanity (For more information view the "Humanity" section).
    • [IMG] Infection Cure --> Infection Cures can be found in chests are used to heal yourself if you are infected. When you are hit by a zombie, there is a chance you will become infected. When you are infected, you will have Hunger III
    • [IMG] Bone --> (Your legs breaking is currently disabled, It may or may no be re-implemented in the future.) When you take fall damage in MCWarZ, your legs break. This gives you slowness and makes movement difficult and slow. You can fix your legs with a bone. Just right click while holding it. Bones can be found in chest or as a drop from killing zombies.
    • [IMG] Bandage --> When you are hurt in MCWarZ or you take damage, there is a chance that you will start to bleed. When bleeding, you lose hearts every couple of seconds until you stop the bleeding with a bandage. To stop the bleeding, right click while holding the bandage. Bandages can be found in chests or a as a drop from killing zombies.
    Grenades
    • [IMG] Grenade --> Grenades can be found in chests and are useful in many situations. Upon right clicking while holding a grenade, it will thrown in the direction you are facing. A few seconds after landing, it will explode dealing damage to anyone close enough to it (including zombies). Grenades could be used to take out whole hordes of zombies quickly and efficiently, or they could be used in combat against other players.
    • [IMG] Molotovs --> Molotovs can be found in chests and are essentially fire bombs. When you right click while holding a molotov, it will be thrown in the direction you are facing. When it lands, it will explode and set anyone close enough to it (including zombies) on fire.
    • Smoke grenades --> Smoke grenades can be found in chests and (as the name implies) create a temporary field of smoke after detonating. When you right click while holding a smoke grenade it will be thrown in the direction you are facing. When it lands, it will explode and create a temporary smoke cloud where it detonated. This cloud of smoke (particles) is difficult to see through and can make it harder to fight.
    • Flash Grenades --> (Coming soon)
    Mobility Items
    • Parachutes --> Parachutes are used to negate fall damage. When holding a parachute, you will not take any fall damage though you still have a chance to break your legs. Parachutes can be found in chests.
    • Grappling Hooks --> Grappling hooks are used for a variety of purposes, the most common being as an easy (yet limited) way to move around quickly. To use a grappling hook simply right click while holding it. Once the grappling hook has landed on a block, you can right click a second time and you will be propelled to the targeted block. Grappling hooks can also be utilized in negating fall damage, because of this, many see parachutes as useless items now, however, parachutes can be used indefinitely while a single grappling hook can only be used 50 times. Also, parachutes are generally recognized as being much easier to use than grappling hooks when negating fall damage.

    HUMANITY:
Your humanity can be seen on the scoreboard on the right of the screen. It is a value that determines what humanity group you are in. (Note, the color of your name (depending on your group) is not applicable in the chat. So if you are a hero, then your name will be blue, but it will be the default color in the chat)
    The groups are:
Heroes: More than 4999 Humanity (Blue Name)
    Survivors: 2000-4999 Humanity (White Name)
Bandits: Less than 2000 Humanity (Red Name)
To gain humanity, you can kill zombies, heal players with blood bags, heal players with broken legs using a bone, or heal players who are bleeding using a bandage.
You lose humanity when you kill survivors or heroes.
    Benefits of each group:
Hero: As a hero, you are more trustworthy. Heroes are not the random killers that most bandits are and when heroes do kill, they mostly put thought into it instead of outright killing on sight. Because of this, heroes are potentially more trustworthy. This means that if you are a hero, possibly less people will attack you out of fear that you will kill them. Please do note that the professionals of MC-WarZ will most likely just KoS (Kill on Sight).

Survivor: Not as beneficial as bandits or heroes. One good thing about being a survivor is that once you choose a path, it is relatively easy to increase/decrease your humanity to either hero or bandit.

Bandit: Bandits have pros and cons. A nice feature of being a bandit is that you can kill whoever you want without worrying about your humanity. If you were a hero, you would want to be careful about killing players so that your humanity would still stay above 5000. That is not the case with bandits. They kill whenever they want, wherever they want (though they don't always succeed). On the other hand, you will most likely be attacked much more often because as a bandit, you have a tainted reputation and people will generally not trust you.
    How to cook meat:
Canned food is easier to find, but some might argue that cooked meat is more convenient. Cooked meat can also be helpful as you don't need to be in a town to make it as long as you have these materials:
    • Hatchet
    • Logs
    • Raw meat
    • Flint and steel
Now that you have the materials, watch the video to learn how to use them.

    Tents:
Tents are a rare item found in chests. They are ideal for storage and for creating campsites. To use a tent just hold it in your hand and right click on the ground. (Note: You cannot place tents in towns) Tents can be picked up by breaking the chests with your fists.
    Strategy:
One strategy that can work with tents is to have hidden places around the map with a tent at each location. You could fill each tent with emergency gear including food, one or two weapons, ammo, medical supplies (bones, bandages, infection cure), and armor. This would be extremely useful since you would be able to restock supplies and gear in the event that you died.
    Barbed Wire:
Barbed wire is a block that gives damage to any player that tries to walk through it (It does not hurt zombies, but rather slows them). Barbed wire can be found in chests and is useful to seal off entrances either to keep zombies/players out, or potentially players trapped in. Barbed wire can be broken by right clicking with wire cutters (shears) [You cannot use your sword to break barbed wire].

    Community:
Reply with 1-2 sentences of advice or something else that could help the guide and I'll add it here.
Advice: Do not give out your skype to random people, using TS3 Is reccomended. DDoS can sometimes happen on this server, so be careful who you give out your skype to.

Nice but... anybody new into warz will probably quit very quickly, not even be on the server long enough to read the forums and never see this post at all. They will probably quit because of the two options you have.
    1. Noobtowns - Kill aura people. You get full iron and a guy with full leather and a stone sword just starts to kill aura you.
    2. Not at a noob town? - Huge teams. Noobs don't go on the forums so you know what I mean. 'nuff said
