    It was actually called Luna. The moon has its own name: Luna.

    Please read more of that science book. I'm pretty sure the moon doesn't influence the spin of the earth.

    Actually, the moon is influencing the spin of Earth by its gravitational pull. Remember, both of the moon and Earth are pulling against each other. It's helping the Earth stay balanced on it's axis. Look at Mars. It lacks a big moon to stabelize the planet, and its tilt is wobbling like chaos!

    WTF are you talking about! The moon is needed so we have new tides and also the moon reflects sunlight etc...

    The moon reflecting sunlight is almost obsolete because all it does is make the moon glow and look pretty
