Opinions on donator privileges given to our staff?

I think that they should but at the same time should (Undecided). Its great that they volunteer time for the servers that they could of done for anything else. They spend countless hours helping other, catching hackers/glitchers. But at the same time i think that if they get donor stuff, everyone would want to apply just for the stuff and not for the actual reason.

 

Yea, I think mods deserve these privlages, they help the community and deserve some privileges right? I see a hint of jelly in your post too <3

 

Well Moderators may play a lot, but just because you play and help the war community doesn't mean you should have a free permanent DONOR rank if you did not donate money for it. They should not be MVP on any server unless they buy it. Moderators should only have staff privileges not things like /tpa or access to ender chest on Mc-WarZ

Well many people help the community its just that mods can kick people. The mods on Wc-WarZ for one do not even help the community. The community has to help its self.

 

I believe all MOD's should get donor ranks on servers as it is a way of paying them to do their job! They are online most the time keeping the server going and putting a lot of effort in to help others. They deserved donor rank as a way of Admin+'s saying thank you.

 

They do not catch the cheaters.
The community catches the cheaters and reports them.

 

We still record hackers/cheaters. We are still part of this community after all

 

They are mods because they applied. The community does more than the mods. And most warz mods done help at all they just use the mvp privileges.
And some mods are mods because of their youtubes. Cough Cough... LuckyPop cough

You are no more a part of the community as we are. You do the same thing we do. If you get rewarded for reporting players then everyone should.

 

Most of the mods do this because they want to help the server, not to be rewarded. And we don't only report people, we spend a lot of time managing the chat and helping people out on the servers. I think I can say this for most mods, but we aren't doing this for the rewards. I didn't even know I would get mvp if I got mod in the first place. We want to help this server just like you

 

im not saying you do it for rewards im sure mods on other mcbrawl servers do what they are supposed to do.
But on mc-warz the only one that does his job is iron raven. so they shouldnt get rearded for doing nothing

 

You don't seem to understand the stuff moderators have to go through. There is a lot of crap that happens all the time, and they're basically the QRF of the staff team. Without moderators any MC server would be screwed.
If they do their job, you haven't seen it. Obviously, there are mistakes. But everyone makes mistakes. You can't just let one mistake ruin everything,

 

Well, I think the mods are fit to help the community the best, I mean only like 10 percent of the applications get accepted, so theres something special about them that makes them different from everybody else.

 

I know a lot of people have trouble with WarZ staff but that's why I try and stay away from it. MOD's like @Parkman1221 @cuddlemonster09 @Lord_Roke from Survival PvP do there jobs really well. However I believe they get nothing anyway. They do their jobs extremely well and don't get MVP or anything. In my opinion they should get ELITE or MVP rank for free every month on survival Pvp for doing a great job.

If this was true, we wouldn't need moderators.

If they weren't helping they wouldn't be mods. Youtubes have nothing whatsoever to do with being a mod.

Moderators do way more than the community does. They are trusted with special privileges that allow them to actually moderate.

I believe that the mod ranks, on servers like WarZ that include some donator items, are given to mods so they could efficiently do their job better. But yeah, on other servers like PvP, mods don't get anything extra, but we do our job fine.

Personally, I don't need extra donator things to do my job, but thats just me. The only problem is the fact that a lot of people view being a mod as a free, guaranteed donator rank, which it isn't.
