How do you feel about mc-war's outlook?

How I see brawl in how they are doing is getting more popular, but with its popularity brings along a lot of "bad bunches" and makes the community less friendly. The addition to some of the donor weapons make people unhappy about the strength of the weapons as they usually aren't able to donate. High level players rage most of the time because they are use to the weapons they used being overpower (ex. law) and other low level weapons to be weak (ex. l118a/dragunov). So I would say they are getting better in attracting players, but the community isn't all the wonderful from what it use to be. The only "noob" calling you usually saw was "law noob." Now you can't barely get through 1 game without a rage and bad sportsmanship. Other than that..it seems to get a little boring these days for me being a 100+ and not have anything else to work toward. The spawn has almost nothing to do while waiting for another game or for the game to start. I won't quit the server because I worked too long to get to the place I am now.

 

Editors note, you are pretty invincible when you have an OP weapon. =D

Honestly I like the community, yet kinda dislike it. I like it because if you are nice to everyone, they will be nice back. - sometimes this is not the case, so what I do is I try is to ask them to be more mature, or in some scenarios become a good example.

 

Well maybe you forgot about when just before the SMG's came out ( which made mc-war better ) there was around 120 players at it's highest peak to give you an idea.

War used to be my favorite server because of how balanced everything was. Back in early 2013, it was rare to have even 5 level 31+ players on. Now it's rare to see at least 3 level 31-.

The try-hardness of some players ceases to amaze me.

I don't directly call others "try-hards" but most of the people on the leaderboards really try way too hard to get fame. What happened to having fun in a game? Like now ctf - "let's see who can nuke first" inf - "let's see who can emp as a zombie first" It's really sad how reactions of people have changed with game changes and buffs/nerfs.

 

There are several main reasons why some people believe is going on a train to hell, while of some of it is true, I believe it is over exaggerated. I feel that donating is the main cause, as it led a large part of the community to believe that donor guns made them better, so they overuse them which leads them down a darker path, because by overusing one gun you loose touch with other. Another reason that the community is believed to have gone a train to hell is that people like joeymast started the first tryhard trend putting stats and nukes overall, and because of his popularity it got spread everywhere. The exaggerated part are community members thinking that all the noobs from minecraft party came to mc-war, I believe this not to be true, however people have there opinions.

 

The community really depends on the day and time. Sometimes, the people on the server are nice and other times you just happen to end up in the wrong place at the wrong time. But yes I do agree the server community has gone downhill. You can still find really nice people on the servers but you just got to really deep. As for leveling system and guns, the initial idea is really good until you have skull crusher/python spammers taking advantage of lower lvl players with the m16 and l118a and using the time as a turkey shoot to boost their stats. If There was more objective to mc war besides kdr, nukes, gun unlocks and such, mc war would be a lot more fun.

side note: The l118a is a beast sniper for default. I caused a lvl 89 player to loose four 20 kill streaks using the l118a in ctf. He raged. This is what the community is like today towards people who end high hill streaks wit han underpowered weapon.
