    You could still release a backstory based on what you've done with the map though, and if you did, you could use these ideas we've collected on this page.

    The "Nether" was the administrator's and staff's facility back in the day. It just so happened, they found a ancient artifact buried in the ground using some advanced technology. They went drilling for it and a poisonous gas was released along with lava pouring from the ground. They then, began containing the gas as much as they could as fast as they could to no avail. When all else failed, they ran. They found a mansion and stayed there. Eventually, a dark silhouette is watching them. All we know, is that they died. How do I know that?... That's for you to decide... :wink:
