    It's hard enough capturing the flag anyway, this would just make it harder.
    Maybe giving the flag carrier a yellow helmet to distinguish, but I'm not very sure about this.

    Like it isnt hard to see someone with a block of wool above their head already.
    maybe outline them on the screen like the bomb carrier in Mann vs Machine (tf2)

    notice how you can see the outline of the bomb through the wall, can we do the same with the flag?

    Not a bad idea. This would help the new players as they more than likely wouldn't know where the flag is.

    How would a compass, showing the direction of the flag, make the game harder?
