What were you when you were a newbie?

As a mod I think banning is a last resort so, I have only permanently banned a player about 20 times in all my experience.

 

It was, we were ddosed every 5 minutes after ITLW's first inhaven vid came out. After about two weeks, we realized we needed to bump up the staff twice as much!

Story: I found this server through a Hungergames website, I really liked it from first moment.
Additional Info: Parazitii (if you don't know him, he was rank 4 for a long time) already called me a hacker when I were only around level 15 ^^

STORY: I joined the server a long time before I actually started playing it. I was confused about how to unlock guns, get more ammo, etc. Eventually I leveled to a shotgun and this became my server of choice.
Additional info: I've only played a game with an Admin once. I've seen Orange restart the server. but that's it.

STORY: I played minecraft with a friend of mine frequently on several survival servers then we moved onto McPvP's hunger games, but after that we found a server called McInfected. It was the first server we found that resembled anything call of duty so we played there for a while. He was playing without me one time and went onto the McPvP site and saw Mc-War advertised there and told me about this crazy new call of duty server that had guns and nothing needed client-side. I didn't believe him at first and had to see for myself and it was awesome. He had the Law straight away and we played on server 4. At that time the law was very overpowered but because not a lot of people had it, there was no 'Law noob' term. Instead people loved you. Also snipers were OP as you didn't have to aim with them and EMP's didn't exist. Because he had started playing I already new a little bit on how to play so I got to pick a sniper for my first game. It was Lockdown FFA and my score was 16-9. from then on we started competing a lot for kills and kdr. My total kdr has never dropped below 1.6 and mine got to 2.0 before he did and by that time he had gotten bored of it because that's how he is. I achieved a 2.0 kdr at about level 10 and I started playing on server 1 instead, as I figured I would meet more people and maybe staff members. The first staff member I met was either future5 or agentrm10101, I can't remember exactly but I'm pretty sure we got along well, or I did with them anyways. I also met a player called I_AM_THE_ZOMBIE who was one of the most popular players at the time and he showed me the forums. Then **** went down and ZOMBIE guy tried to scam some accounts or something and has been permanently banned ever since. But I also met PistolParrot O: I got a long with him well I think, it was back when he was a mod. The first time I met him actually, we played a game of infect on TheHood and at the time you could get on the wall, I asked him if it was okay to go up there and I must of interpreted it wrong because I thought he would let me, then he didn't and he kicked me. First time ever kicked. After that I got to level 31, and by this time I was still using the l118a, because I liked the fire rate on it and it could 1hit with a headshot. A little while after that my computer broke I used a different computer but it was worse than my current one, so that's when I got active on the forums. I reported at least one person a week until I got mod because I was fed up with people hacking. When I got to level 37 I got my first nuke, best feeling ever and it was with the l118a. was summit, blue team. I ran out of sniper ammo and went rambo with my deagle to get it in literally the last 3 seconds of the game. Fun Fact: I have never actually nuked with the barret. when I was around level 43, prestige guns came out and I had known they were coming and been waiting for them since before my computer broke. I bought all of them straight away and at this time I had no donations. I tried all the guns, except the spas24 because that didn't work at first >.< and fell in love with the isolator. After that we got new forums. They were changed and worked on a lot before we could actually post, but my application was my first post on the new forums and the first staff application on the new forums. I didn't talk about my application in game because lots of people wanted me to make one but didn't use the forums. I didn't want a heap of people signing up to make biased comments on my staff application that really wasn't that good. But while I never talked about it it died and got to the back of the list. A player one day told me to make a staff application and me being my honest self told him I already had, and he grave dug it. I then got a lot of good messages on it. A while after that, A staff member told me that they had put in a good word for me and told me to keep up the reports and keep posting useful things on the forums and such but looking at other applications mine really was not that good and I requested a lock. About a day later I along with 4/5 others were accepted for mod, then we switched forums again -_-
I kept reporting people and did what I was told, was very active especially on teamspeak and I got promoted to global mod, and got MVP for warz. Though I think I was only given MVP for warz so I could teleport back to putty/pistol when I played with them and they didn't have to do it for me. *NOTE* The only rank/donation I ever asked for was my first Moderator rank, Mc-War Mod. A while Brawl had been started up and D3 had become mod. I got onto teamspeak and orange, pistol and D3 were already online. and I noticed that D3 had banned someone and asked if he was supposed to be able to do that. The current answer was yes but no? Orange didn't want him as a Supermod but he was promoted by pistol and putty. I then felt like kind of a dick so I was like standing up for D3 and stuff, and he got Smod on Brawl. at the same time I was promoted to Smod, I don't know why I got it then, I guess it was just because I was there and had been doing a good job continuously. then I just played, and banned people and such. When I was around level 70 at one stage I was the only Non-Donor in the Top 10 players. Then I got a heap of donor items and stuff stayed the same really, except I started using python instead of Deagle and used primaries other than the Iso.

Das my story so far. If only I put as much info into it as I did schoolwork.
Current goal is getting to level 100, no exp boosts.

 

I was noob, then I got the barret. When I just had the iso, the barret got nerfed, and now I'm level 56. I'm still non-donor.

STORY: Back when i was a little nooblet, my friend showed me this server. When i first joined i instantly notice the rank wall (at the old spawn) and how it said 'level 30 lol' and i wanted to be that rank. So i played a lot, my friend was already like level 26 when i joined. I started as an m16 noob then a dragnuv noob then a total Barrett noob. I got my first emp on carrier (which is my favorite map) and when i got the emp at level 17 my friend started freaking out saying "LOL AWESOME!" then i decided to get even better. At level 27 i launched my first nuke, i forgot which map, i think Dharan. But i used the Barrett every game, back before it got nerfed. So when i hit prestiege i started getting noticed, i used only the Barrett until level 36, when mah iso came along. But i have now passed my friend (in levels and skill), and my goal was to get 50k kills, which i hit last week. But ever since level 56, i seem to do worse. I still play because it is the best server i have ever played.

 

I launched my first nuke at level 13 :3 Emp's didn't even exist :V
